How to Re-Motivate Yourself When Life Is Tooooo Much!
With our busy lives and busy schedule we often get tired of the grind. And contrary to popular belief...IT"S OK TO GET TIRED! We are only human right? The key is to get tired or fall and get back up....only the resilient survive.
Have you ever found yourself asking, "What's the problem?", "Where's the blockage?", "How do I get to my goals?"
Been there... done that!
BUT I realized that I was asking myself the wrong questions because I was asking without having a clear understanding of my VISION. And Instead of askinf the whats, the wheres and the hows.... I should have been asking the whys, the whos and whens.
Why do I want to achieve my goals? Who do I need in my tribe to help achieve my goals? When do I envision achieving these goals?
While going through the answering process, it came to my attention that I need GATA Kit. (Get After That A$$ as my Alma Mater would say,Hail Southern!) A kit that gets me out of my Life Funk...a self picker upper if you will, an arsenal of the things that will RE-Motivate me:
1. Ask yourself, "What motivates me?"
To devise a plan of attack you have to figure out what appeals to you. What makes you happy? What do you enjoy doing? What is something you can do that will take your mind off a negative situation? What are some of your most precious memories? Knowing the answers to these questions will guide to back to the road of motivation.
2. Re- Evaluate Your Morning Routine.
What you do with your mornings is what is going to empower you and get your day off to a powerful start. Do you wake up, scroll through social media, roll out of bed while complaining about your job?? Or do you wake up peacefully, give time to the Creator, fill yourself with affirmations, have a fulfilling breakfast, and get out the door on time? Success is all in your routine.
3. Ask yourself, "What is my Vision for the Future?"
While goal planning we often are told...make sure they are SMART goals, make sure you write them in specific intervals.....blah, blah, blah....But we are never told that we need to start with a vision first. Being clear on how you want your future to look and what you want to create takes all the questioning and guessing out of what you should be doing. You can compare your vision to your daily actions and make adjustments accordingly.
As you go throughout life there is one thing that is certain...You will face obstacles and you need to be prepared to face them. What are some ways your re-motivate yourself?
